Private fees apply to all consultations, procedures and surgeries at The Skin Cancer Hub. Our preferred payment method is EFTPOS or credit card. You will receive your Medicare rebate immediately through our online facilities.
Bulk Billing services are available to Gold DVA card holders.
Discounts may apply to concession card holders.

Surgical Procedures & Biopsies
Skin cancer surgeries and other procedures incur an additional charge and is based on the complexity and duration. The full balance owing will be required to paid at the time of your consultation. Your Medicare rebate will be lodged electronically using Tyro system at the same time so on most occasions you will receive the rebate instantly.
Pease remember that our doctors are independent consultants so individual fees may vary.Our staff will discuss your individualised procedure and related fees at the time of your booking.
Fees for skin biopsies are calculated according to the number of lesions undergone investigation. Your Specimen will be sent to the skin pathology clinic for microscopic examination and diagnosis confirmation. Pathologists bulk bill their services if you have a valid Medicare number.
Deposits: You will be asked to pay a deposit prior to any surgeries or other procedures and the full balance owing is payable at the time of the procedure.
Cancellation Policy for Surgical Procedures & Biopsies:
If you have to cancel you will receive a 100% refund if more than 7 day’s notice is provided or a 50% refund if within 3-7 days’ notice and no refund will be provided within 2 days.
Cancellation Policy for Skin Checks
We require all our appointments to be confirmed. A missed appointment is a loss to another patient who could have used the valuable time and the doctor who was fully staffed and prepared for the treatment.
- An SMS message is sent 24 hours prior to your appointment so please make sure you respond with Yes or No.
- If you don’t confirm your appointment, then we will rebook it for another patient
- If you cancel your subsequent appointments without 24 hour notice, or don’t show up for your appointment, a cancellation fee / “no-show” fee of $50 will apply.
