Rupert is a Queensland-trained General Practitioner with a career long interest in treating melanoma and other skin cancers. Graduating with honours in 2005, Rupert was awarded a Commonwealth Scholarship with the Royal Australian Air Force, subsequently serving in the ADF across Australia, Germany and Pakistan. Rupert has undertaken postgraduate training in melanoma surgery at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and in general dermatology across Royal Brisbane, Queensland Children’s Hospital, and Townsville University Hospital. Rupert is married with four daughters, active in water polo and netball. He is also an avid country and western music fan.
